Data Processing Manager
A direct mail firm with an exciting culture on the forefront of technology is looking for a Data Processing Technical Manager.
You would be responsible for the data processing department including direct mail processing systems and operations, hiring/firing and the scheduling of workflow. You would also be responsible for the Client Server network, database administration and technology advancements including web-enabled processes and revenue generation. You would work with data processing specialists to develop, maintain and improve custom processing programs.
You must have 3+ years management experience in a direct marketing/service bureau environment. Also, 3+ years experience with file conversion, letter generation, merge/purge processing, database manipulation and postal processing is required -- First Logic or Group1, and GMC Printnet. A strong digital print background and knowledge of postal regulations are a must. Lastly, you must demonstrate strong leadership skills and be action and results oriented, yet maintain the human affirming values of the company.
Experience with Adobe & Quark suites and the capacity to represent the technical side in working with sales and marketing in customer interactions: pre-sales, customer satisfaction and customer retention
