Position Summary :

§ Support Plant Manager and other plant departments as a business and financial advisor

§ Recommend business actions based on financial analysis

§ Perform standard and ad hoc performance analysis for Plant and Regional management

§ Support line management in creation and monitoring of progress of the performance plan

§ Coordinate budgets, forecasts and other business cycle activities (including plant improvement plans) with FSC, plant, and regional management

§ Champion plant performance plan

§ Identify, quantify, and report material bookings to the Financial Service Center (FSC)

§ Critical review of financial statements to validate against business performance and initiate material corrections

§ Provide key qualitative data and analysis for monthly reporting package

§ Manage local internal controls to ensure integrity of costs and reporting

§ Validation of Product Costing; CKHC ; Plant information reporting - PIR

§ Control and optimization of plant inventories

§ Prepare and validate business cases for capital expenditures, and the financial analysis for those business cases.

§ Perform post-audits of capital projects locally

QUALIFICATIONS 

Educational Background :

Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting

Professional accounting designation required (CMA, CGA, CPA or CA)

MBA an asset

Experience :

Minimum 5 years of financial management experience with increasing responsibility
