Senior Paralegal

Downtown firm seeks senior paralegal to perform a variety of duties and special projects as requested by the attorney. Must have 7-10 years of progressive experience providing administrative support services to management, including at least 5 years of experience as a legal assistant paralegal/Senior Paralegal and supporting a senior executive, law firm partner or senior member of corporate legal department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

·  Responds to regularly occurring requests for information.

·  Support in researching public records and corporate records.

·  Working experience at major law firm or corporate legal department.

·  Compiles and disseminates communication and materials for the attorney.

·  Maintains and provides information to other corporate departments relating to corporate records, contracts and litigation.

·  Liaises with regional legal staff.

·  Responds to regularly occurring requests for information.

·  Compiles and disseminates communication and materials for the attorney.

·  Performs document management, such as tracking of exhibits, transcripts, depositions, etc.

 

 

MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Documentum, World Records and other legal matter management databases. Experience in the oil & gas industry is a plus but not required.

Spanish or French proficiency preferred.

 

 

Paralegal Certification and degree required 

Notary Public preferred

 

Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
