Assistant General Counsel - Technology Transactions

The selected candidate will provide legal counsel to  our product development, product marketing,  and sourcing organizations in support of domestic and international technology supply, resale, distribution, consulting services, managed services, outsourcing and licensing agreements.  Responsibilities include: the analysis, structuring, drafting and negotiation of business critical contractual arrangements; making recommendations based on established company policies;, assisting internal clients in analysis of complex legal and business issues related to the acquisition of technology and services for use in  Company offerings.

 

Job Qualifications/Required Skills:

 

Juris Doctorate degree and 7+ years of experience in the relevant areas.  Membership in at least one state bar association.  Excellent writing, communication and negotiation skills. Experience in the drafting of purchase, licensing and reseller/ distribution agreements for software, hardware, consulting services and managed services.
