Director of Computer Forensics

As the Director of Computer Forensics at Miles Technologies, you will have the exciting opportunity to grow and develop the Miles Computer Forensics practice. You will have the ability to manage your own team of forensic investigators. Your strengths as our Forensic Director will be utilized to enhance your visualization of the enormous growth potential in your own department. Your business expertise will be used to assist in closing Forensics projects. It will also allow you to oversee the management of all of your Forensics Projects. Your experience as an expert testimony witness, your legal contacts, and overall knowledge of the Computer Forensics field will reward you with a fantastic opportunity at Miles Technologies.



General requirements :

Requirements:

•Bachelors degree, ideally in Computer Forensics, or related field such as Computer Science or Criminal Justice.

•Experience working in all phases of Computer Forensics cases: discovery, analysis and investigation, reporting, court presentation, chain of custody, digital media.

•Experience with investigative software such as EnCase and FTK (Forensics Took Kit)

•Computer Forensics Certification is required (EnCE is first preference, CCE, CFE, CFCE or CIFI is acceptable minimum.)

•Experience providing expert witness testimony in court is preferred.

•Served in a managerial or director role in Computer Forensics.

•Possess a resume that lends credibility to the Director of Computer Forensics



Candidates should have some experinence with :

Responsibilities:

•Oversee all discovery phase of cases.

•Monitor the collection electronic evidence/computer related evidence.

•Ensure the preservation of all electronic evidence/computer related evidence.

•Document procedures for the recovery of all available data, including deleted and temporary files.

•Develop proper protocols in preserving electronic evidence. Document chain of custody.

•Effectively manage and analyze large volumes of electronic evidence/computer related evidence.

•Perform investigative analysis of electronic data according to the specific needs of the case. Utilize tools such as EnCase, and FTK to execute investigative analysis.

•Authenticate data (computer-related crime/security incident) for presentation in court.

•Customize analysis and professional reports for investigations.

•Have a thorough knowledge of acquiring leads, generation of work, and closing projects.

•Identify opportunities to continue to grow and develop the Miles Computer Forensics practice.

•Serve as direct report for all Computer Forensics Investigators.

•Oversee and manage Computer Forensics projects.
