Web Marketing Assistant

The Web Marketing Assistant’s primary role is to assist our E-Commerce department with SEO, and our online marketing campaign. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude who is willing to learn the world of SEO and online marketing. Candidate must possess great communication skills and be able to manage relationships with external advertisers. This position may also assist the Director of E-Commerce with competitive research, keyword research, and reports using our proprietary software.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Manage communications with current and potential external advertisers

 

· Negotiate deals with advertisers and purchase advertising on our behalf

 

· Renew existing advertising deals

 

· Assist the Director of E-Commerce with the tracking of pay-per-click campaigns

 

· Will conduct keyword research for events as requested by the Director of E-Commerce

· Other duties as determined by the Director of E-Commerce



ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

Must be proficient with Excel and Outlook. A familiarity with web advertising, SEO and PPC search engines a plus.

 

 

BENEFICIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

A working knowledge of HTML is helpful.
