Web Crawler Spider Developer for Adventure Travel Web Site
AdventureLink LLC is developing the world's largest directory of adventure and eco tour operators that allows consumers to connect with experts and make real-time bookings. We are looking for an experienced web crawler, spider developer that can lead the development of our automated content aggregation system.
You must have previous experience in deploying a crawler, spider based system with automated tools that crawl, index and periodically update content and normalize this content in a structured, database format. You will have the opportunity to participate as a core member of our engineering team in designing and deploying the system.
Our requirements:
3+ years experience in software engineeringExperience in working with web crawler and spider technologiesStrong architectural software and database design skillsExperience in XML-based Web services (SOAP, UDDI, WSDL)Experience in C#, .NET, and Visual StudioBachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related discipline preferred
