Program Manager – Online Video Community
Description:
We are a rapidly growing network of approximately 20 high-traffic and popular web properties in the social network and online video communities.
Our company is currently seeking a Program Manager with at least 3 years of experience to oversee operations of our next generation online video community. If you are talented, a team player, fit the responsibilities below, and thrives when faced with challenges; this is the perfect fit for you!
Job responsibilities will include:Guide the day-to-day operations of a top-tier online video community Execute plans to increase: traffic, video uploads, and registrations Manage content moderators to remove videos that violate site policies Daily programming schedule for our exclusive / originally produced content Internal / external online marketing of our content, features and promotions
Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to recognize good content in categories such as: music, TV, film, animation, comedy, science & technology, comedy, travel, sports Incredibly plugged in to the Internet, technology and pop culture Detail- and deadline-oriented Excellent work ethic and team player. Must be dedicated, driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Knowledge & experience of vidiLife, YouTube, MySpace or another online video site Familiarity with content management systems
Computer / Internet savvy
Starting salary $48K per year D.O.E.
