Summary:  Reunion.com is currently looking for a self-motivated Business Development Account Executive with a proven track record of creating business opportunities, closing deals, and generating revenue in the search, directory and internet industry.  The ideal candidate will have distribution marketing deal negotiation experience, including contract development.  Strong sales and negotiation skills are critical to the success of this individual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  This individual will have a minimum of 3-5 years of business development experience working for an Internet company.  We are looking for someone to utilize a full range of partnership deal development activities.  This would include financial analysis, business analysis, strategy analysis and formulation, due diligence, contract terms and conditions, valuation, and negotiation to proactively seek new product and revenue opportunities across distribution partnerships.

 

Qualifications:

 

· Identify and execute People Search distribution partnerships with websites based on predefined size and category parameters.

· Provides marketplace and competitive analysis that supports the business strategy and informs the product initiatives.  Works closely with the product and marketing teams to ensure strategies are executed.

· Experience directly managing revenue.

· Ability to create and deliver high quality presentations and demonstrations, covering business and technical content.

· Experience in partner/customer facing position, strong customer communication skills.

· Ability to travel for business meetings, presentations, and industry events.

· Solid understanding of Pay-For-Performance, Search and/or subscription based business models.

· Strong negotiation, deal creation, closing and financial modeling experience.

· Ability to work independently, take initiative, work across functional teams and drive results.

· Proven ability to analyze business performance, understand underlying drivers and set and achieve goals.

· Manage accounts from both a relationship and a revenue perspective.

· Develop business forecasts, contract renewal schedules, and opportunities "road map".

· Create and negotiate partner contracts in cooperation with sales, legal, finance, and product development teams

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resource partner projects.

· Attend conferences as appropriate

· Candidate should have a demonstrated ability to manage and grow major account relationships; Must be a true team player, able to share responsibility for key decision making with a team, while accepting responsibility to drive internal decision making process.

· Strong analytics; Must be able to think with complex deal structures with multiple variables

 

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor Degree in related field, Masters preferred
