We are seeking an exceptional product person to join our web services team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the Web, and has a proven ability to assess consumer needs, identify market opportunities, define detailed product and program specifications, and work within a cross-functional team (design, engineering, operations, customer service, sales, marketing and business). Candidates must be highly motivated, extremely organized, detail-oriented and possess outstanding communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

– Coordinating customer, competitive and market research activities to document and drive priorities and requirements through the product development process.

– Working closely with engineering and service teams to plan release timelines, prioritize features and design capabilities around a highly-iterative functional release schedule.

– Creating business requirements, and revenue forecasts for new product releases and for modifications to existing products and services.

– Working closely with product marketing to create launch platforms for new products or enhancements, including positioning, pricing and go-to-market communication activities.

– Serving as a product expert assisting in the development of web content, marketing materials and sales collateral.

– Participating in the growth of the company by helping to reinforce company culture, recruit talent and develop positive partner relationships.

 

 

Skills:

- The candidate should have at least 3+ years product management and/or consulting experience with companies that deliver web-based services or software products in the media space.

- Strong background in full web development life cycle with significant experience working with a variety of customers to define business needs, convert those needs into requirements.

– Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.

– Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment.

- Project Management experience, a plus.

- BS in computer science, engineering or related field preferred.
