Our Key Accounts department is looking for a self-motivated sales or account management professional to manage the renewal process for an assigned book of business, consisting of fully insured and self-funded clients with 100-999 lives. Primary responsibilities include:
Negotiating renewals for assigned accounts
Performing strategic planning with the accounts in terms of benefits, long-term goals, benefit design, and cost strategy
Presenting and discussing utilization patterns with groups
Meeting with brokers on a regular basis and building broker and client relationships
Educating employers on our value proposition
Assisting with escalated issues as needed
Working with the implementation team to ensure renewals are set up properly
Assisting with the implementation of new business with Account Executives
Identifying and utilizing upselling opportunities

Group insurance experience in an account management or sales capacity is required. Must also have experience dealing with the renewal process for existing accounts and a Sales Insurance License (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment). A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
