We are currently seeking individuals with a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, for an entry-level position in machine tool service. 

 

Candidates should meet the following requirements:Strong electro mechanical skills.Technical / Vocational training or equivalent experience.Some overnight travel required.Valid Drivers License / Verification of Driving Record Required.Motivated self-starter with ability to make decisions and take action when required.Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.Familiarity with test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes etc.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Punctual and dependableMeet physical demands to include, bending, stooping, standing climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling and lifting heavy objects.Team player with commitment to customer satisfaction.

 

 

You will represent the company in resolving complex technical problems while maintaining good customer relations. Service responsibilities include, machine maintenance, technical support, troubleshooting control issues, diagnosing system alarms, rebuild, repair, and alignment of mechanical assemblies.

 

Responsibilities will include:Provide electrical, hydraulic and mechanical repair and service on CNC equipment.Communicate technical service information to customers.Analyze needed repairs, proactively ensure parts are ordered, delivered and installed efficiently.Set up of new machinery, installation of options, and operator training on new machinery.Maintain a vehicle, valid drivers license and driving record.Promote Preventative Maintenance Programs.Complete service and billing reports for each service call.Maintain expense reports when traveling.Participate in trade shows as needed.Accurately maintain inventory on service van.Other duties as assigned.
