Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as command point of contact and interface for all requirements impacting assigned systems (Domain Controllers, Terminal Server, IPTV, SmartForce CBT, Web Server, etc.).  Act as primary interface with vendor support service groups to resolve all network/desktop support issues.  Perform system testing, backup and optimization of software components.  Prepare studies on network performance and give presentations outlining recommended improvements.  Monitor and respond to a variety of complex hardware, software and network problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing procedures.  Plan installations, transitions, and cutovers of network components and capabilities.  Analyze network vulnerabilities and recommends security enhancements. Implement all security directives as assigned by IASO.  Track and update all security taskings for 100% compliance with MEDCOM & SERMC standards. Maintain copies of daily network transaction logs to document changes, problems and/or failure trends with systems being administered or repaired.  Maintain scripts for software deployment and asset management.  Provide expert knowledge of all primary Windows server components, BackOffice products, System Management products, Office products, Internet protocols, Internet Information Server, and UNIX based systems.  Other duties as required.

 

Experience/Education MCSE, SMS, Network Security Tools (i.e. Harris STAT)Work well with others and promotes team harmony. Work independently to plan and accomplish own work as well as work of team members. Provide excellent customer service. Work under pressure to meet deadlines and suspense’s. Ability to articulate clearly, verbally and in writing in order to provide meaningful studies and information to individual health care provider teams and or groups. Ability to accept and manage unscheduled task with a short suspense, in a resourceful manner.  Abides by established organization policies and procedures.  Knowledge of Exchange 2003 and SQL Server.
