Sr. HRIS Analyst
Job Summary: Provides information system support to all functional areas within Human Resources. Coordinates and tracks a variety of confidential information and forms. Maintains and generates an assortment of reports ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Responsible for processing, tracking and the administration of HR information in the database including regular data entry. Responsible for general system administration, coordination of system enhancements and changes, report generation and system training as a first line resource. Ensure integrity of system and assist in solving problems. Assist in the implementation and day-to-day usage of HR systems on PeopleSoft.
Key Responsibility Areas:
· Creates and updates employee resources databases, spreadsheets and employee resources processes as changes occur
· Conducts analysis and research on HR record-keeping needs (i.e. salary history, benefit status, position history) and designs modifications to software system to address their needs
· Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual and on demand reports and statistics from system. Modifies as necessary
· Conducts audits to ensure data integrity of employee pay and benefit information. Communicates issues, trends, and processes changes to appropriate parties
· Develops and maintains a strong working knowledge of PeopleSoft systems in order to effectively utilize its capabilities in all functional areas
· Provides coverage for day-to-day support of HRIS including but not limited to performing complex data entry as needed
· Ensures interfaces with TPA’s, vendors and coordination with internal departments as needed
· Establish necessary controls and checks to ensure data and system integrity is maintained
Working Conditions:
Favorable working conditions in a climate controlled office space; must be available for to cover any work shift; Works within an office environment with minimal travel required; level II IT security clearance.
Employment Standards:
Education and Experience:
· Two to three years HRIS experience, specifically PeopleSoft
· Associate’s Degree preferred
· Background and experience working in a human resource department
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Strong PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet proficiency
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills including attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work well within a team and independently as needed
· Handles confidential information discreetly and with sound judgment
· Well organized, self-directed, ability to prioritize and use time management effectively
· Flexibility as responsibilities are aligned within the work team
