Director of Rehab Job Details:
Therapy Specialists has an opening for a Director of Rehab to lead our therapy team at a 305 bed skilled nursing facility in San Diego, California. We are looking for an experienced Director of Rehab who has extensive knowledge of PPS, enjoys developing and leading a dedicated team of therapists, is adept at problem solving and has excellent customer service skills. As the Director of Rehab, you are empowered to make decisions that benefit the patients, residents, families and staff while receiving the clinical and operational support from a locally-based company.

Requirements
• Ability to efficiently manage staffing to meet the needs of the patients and residents
• Communicate effectively with staff and provide the leadership and support needed to help them develop professionally
• Ensure patient treatment is consistent with patient need and reimbursement level for best possible outcome
• Assist in identifying and implementing new programs to benefit patients and residents
• Manage positive relationships with facility staff to ensure customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to Therapy Specialists Mission, Values and Service Behaviors
• Ensure identified rehab benchmarks are being met
• Knowledge of reimbursement/payer source issues
• Responsible for accuracy of documentation and billing
