Mental Health Specialists I
Star View Community Services, a leader in providing Mental Health Services in Los Angeles County, is seeking, Mental Health Specialists I (MHSI) for Group Services The MHS is responsible for providing a variety of mental health services including assessment and evaluation, individual, family and group therapies, crisis management, and "whatever it takes" to effectively maintain placement of clients. The MH Specialist works with families, school districts, other external agencies, and a team of mental health and education professionals in a group setting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation
Bachelor’s degree in a Mental Health Field plus four years experience in a mental health field, or
Master's degree in a Mental Health Field plus two years experience in a mental health field
Experience
Above experience should be with children or adolescents (preferred) in residential or outpatient settings.
License or Certification
Valid California Driver's License.
