EAP Advisor
ValueOptions, the nation’s largest managed behavioral healthcare company, is seeking a career oriented EAP Advisor professional for its Long Beach Office.
The EAP Advisor provides guidance to client organizations regarding behavioral problems in the workplace. Handles contacts /requests/referrals from client organization management regarding troubled employees, critical incidents, training, and other events impacting the workplace such as reduction in force. Provides assessments, referrals and counseling. Conducts telephone assessments, collecting sufficient data to make appropriate referral and certification decision for emergency/urgent referrals that require alternate levels of care. Prepares and presents training to client organizations. Provides liaison with account management to service client accounts.
Education: Requires a Masters Degree.
Licensures: A California Clinical Licensure in a mental health related field (RN, Ph.D., LCSW, etc.) is required.
Relevant Work Experience: At least, five (5) years post degree experience in providing workplace employee assistance services. CEAP certification may be substituted for one year of experience.
