Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Looking to join a world-class regional medical center? 

 

The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor has overall responsibility and accountability for the daily operations and delivery of nuclear medicine provided to patients.

 

Performs a variety of technical procedures utilizing radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.  This position requires extensive knowledge related to nuclear medicine technology and its equipment, as well as the ability to coordinate and make judgements concerning the management of patients.

 

The Nuclear Medical Supervisor is responsible for the accuracy of examinations and for the careful and approved methods of handling, preparation and injection and the disposal of radioactive material.

 

The Nuclear Medical Supervisor is responsible for interpretation of a patients self report or behavior and this information must be interpreted with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process.
