RN Nurse Consultant

Overview : Banner Health, Arizona's largest Healthcare provider has an opportunity for an RN Nurse Consultant (Legal Nurse). Responsibilities :

This position will be responsible for minimizing or avoiding the risk of loss to the corporation from professional and general liability claims by assisting in the investigation, evaluation, and processing of potential claims, claims and suits, in anticipation of litigation and by participating in loss prevention and loss reduction activities as necessary.

Qualifications :

Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or coupled with five years RN Clinical experience or the equivalent experience. Experience handling professional or general liability claims with an insurance company, a law firm or a risk mgmt. department is highly desirable. Highly effective verbal and written skills are essential.
