This highly skilled hospital is seeking nurses to complete their team.

Relocation of $2500.00 paid on first pay for moves greater than 50 miles.

Scholarships available up to $7500.00

1.  PATIENT CARE – Accountable for the coordination, facilitation and direct delivery of patient care on assigned patients:
Nursing process – utilizes the Nursing Process in patient assessment, planning of care, and performance of care interventions. 

 
Competency / Tasks – maintains competency for services performed and equipment utilized.  Identifies education needs and communicates those needs to appropriate individuals.

 
Collaboration / Delegating – collaborates with physicians and other health care team members in the planning and implementation of patient care.  Delegates nursing activities based on the needs of the patients and the competence of the employees.

 
Resource Manager - shares knowledge and skills with colleagues and others.  Assists team members in giving patient care and provides direct supervision to other members of the health care team.

1.  PROGRAM DELIVERY – Maintains shift accountability for overall operations, integration, and delivery of patient care for the assigned unit:
Continuum of Care facilitator – Demonstrates an understanding of the function of each department and how each department interrelates with Nursing personnel in contributing to delivery of patient care.

 
Resource Manager / Advocate – Effectively manages human and material resources while serving as employee and customer advocate.

 
Care Plan - Initiates a care plan for each  assigned patient, and evaluates and documents  the effectiveness of nursing interventions in accomplishing goals and expected clinical outcomes.

 
Unit Assignment – Readily accepts duties and tasks.

 
Prioritization – Organizes delivery of patient care to an assigned group of patients and resets priorities based on assessment / reassessment needs of the patient and the unit.
