Life Care Center at South Mountain is a 124 bed-facility.

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Director of Nursing.

The Director of Nursing will plan, organize, develop and direct overall operation of nursing services departments to ensure highest degree of resident care in accordance with all laws, regulations and LCC standards.

 

Qualified candidates will possess:
* ASN or BSN degree from accredited college.
* Leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and

non-professional staff.
* Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the nursing department
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret financial records and reports
* Knowledge in nursing practices, procedures, as well as the laws, regulations and guidelines governing nursing functions in long-term care.
*2 years experience as a DON in LTC
*Strong people management skills and strong clinical skills
*Knowledge of state survey and JCAHO
