Transcriptionist

We are recruiting a Transcriptionist to join the Kindred Hospital Division.

Under the supervision of the Transcription Manager,the experienced Transcriptionist will input a variety of medical reports on modern digital dictation system. Completion of a flexible work schedule with the option of working from home after training completion. Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent with successful completion of specialized schooling such as a transcription certificate program preferred.

Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.

Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) preferred.

Experience with acute care transcription in multiple specialty disciplines.

Must be able to communicate effectively with other staff members.

Able to pass tests in transcription and proofreading.

Depending on a candidate qualifications, this position may be filled at a higher level.
