Surgical Tech Instructor- Share your knowledge

Western Career College of US Education Corporation is growing and we are seeking a  Surgical Technician Instructor for our San Jose campus. Previous teaching experience is not required.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Surgical Technician related professional to be Faculty for a new Surgical Technician program on the San Jose campus of Western Career College.

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide instruction according to program curriculumEnsures that instruction meets or exceeds the standards and guidelines established by the College, accreditation, legislation, and all appropriate agencies. Participates in new student orientation and ensures that students are given a clear, well-defined overview of College/department expectations and minimum proficiency standards. Assures completion of all student competencies prior to graduation.

 

 

 QUALIFICATIONSAA/AS or higher degree requiredCurrent CST or RN/CST. 5 + years recent experience in Surgical Technician field or related profession. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
