Surgical Tech/Days

Overview : The incumbent will perform pre-operative procedures such as selection and placement of appropriate surgical instruments, supplies and equipment; to scrub and provide instruments, sutures and other sterile supplies during surgical procedures.

Qualifications :

Must have completed a surgical tech program or have recent experience equal to that education. A minimum of 1 year experience as a surgical tech in a similar sized OR is strongly preferred. New graduates will be considered on an individual basis. Must be able to meet the physical/mental demands of this position. Must be available to take call. Excellent interpersonal skills and compliance with Banner Health Service Standards also required.
