DST Health Solutions is currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager.
The Project Manager is responsible for delivering project(s) on schedule and within budget, while satisfying agreed-upon customer requirements and specifications within the scope of the project.
Responsible for the appropriateness, quality, and timeliness of all aspects of the project, manages the production of project estimates, develops project schedule, establishes measures and milestones, tracks ongoing project progress, and establishes a project office as required. He/she mobilizes necessary DST resources, assembles project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate project resources, and provides guidance and direction to project team members. Proactively manages risks, issues, and scope through out the project life cycle, prepares/presents project plans/status reports to organizational leadership, project teams and client/customer groups. Appropriately escalates to Senior Management as necessary.
Approach
He/she Performs project management responsibilities and develops and manages all project management work product for all assigned projects and achieves contractual commitments related to quality, cost, and schedule. He/she monitors progress, challenges assumptions, identifies problems/issues, mitigates issues, maintains applicable account relationships, ensures appropriate communication and addresses escalated issues.
Other Essential Functions
Ensures formal "Quality Before Design" processes & procedures (Requirements Elicitation & Management) are followed and applicable work products completed on all associated projects. Works to educate staff & correct instances where it is not being followed. As necessary, promptly escalates non-compliance to formal processes to senior management.
Regularly updates the project financial actuals and projections (resource allocations and project revenue / expenditures) in the appropriate system. Reconciles financials to actuals weekly/monthly.
Prepares accurate and complete weekly and monthly status reports on a timely basis in compliance with DST Health Solutions Policy and Procedures.
As necessary, performs facilitation responsibilities for formal meetings/workshops/training in accordance with DST best practices and DST HS tools & processes. As an assigned lead to a project/initiative, identifies appropriate support for facilitator/time keeper etc. roles for applicable meetings/workshops in relation to these projects/initiatives. Ensures deliverables are completed accurately, with good quality and on a timely basis.
Accurately coaches and mentors employees on DST's best practices, policies and procedures. Ensures correct/up-to-date information is communicated and shared. Seeks information as necessary to ensure accuracy.
Provides leadership by example to the entire organization. Uses appropriate tools, processes, business practices and demonstrates excellence in teamwork through collaboration with team members and stakeholders as well as demonstrating best practices with key business skills (i.e. facilitation, coaching, project management, etc).

BA/BS Degree and/or MBA/MSA plus up to 9 years related experience.
PMI certified PM preferred
Experienced Project Manger - successful completion of multiple projects. Demonstrated ability with project management, tracking and control tools and best practices.
Ability to coach and facilitate teams/individuals.
Effective communication skills - verbal/ active listening/ written.
Possibly 50 - 75% travel required
