DST Health Solutions is currently seeking a QA Manager:
The QA Manager will supervise and mentor the quality assurance team and help manage their task assignments and career development. They will also have the responsibilities outlined below.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading the QA team through the full life cycle of development, including requirements and design review, managing test resources, test planning, test design, review and execution.
2. Ensure the development of timely, cost effective test solutions that include automation test strategies and processes.
3. Report on product quality within the company via execution of detailed test plans and accurate reporting of execution progress and defect metrics.
4. Represent quality team in project meetings to ensure efficient testing and defect resolution
5. Manage the day to day activities of the team.
6. Continue to build an effective test organization by driving the recruiting and hiring of QA Analysts.
7. Collaborate with the application development teams to identify, acquire and/or develop test infrastructure to meet the test capabilities and cost efficiencies.
8. Participate in business decisions associated with product developments from idea review through to market readiness; with focus on test coverage, test methodology, and product performance
9. Ensure that sustainable, high quality test solutions are developed to improve our test coverage of the applications.
10. Continuous benchmarking of test development technology and adoption/development of new test methodologies to address the changing nature of new products and to take advantage of advanced capabilities
11. Be an effective advocate for the Quality Assurance team.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
B.S in Computer Science or similar field
A minimum of 5 years of management experience
A minimum of 5 years software test development experience
Experience with implementing successful automated testing strategies, tools and techniques
Strong management and organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills


Demonstrated track record for:
Implementing test solutions for complex applications
Developing and utilizing new test methodologies
Good decision making, problem solving abilities based on analytical approaches
Summarizing technical plans and results through reports and presentations
Achieving results in a multi project, team environment
Exercising strong leadership and communication skills in influencing peers and management
Managing, motivating, mentoring, hiring and retaining quality staff
Supervising and mentoring test analysts
Experience working with remote teams
Experience in the Healthcare Industry is a bonus; but not required
