Major activites of this position include:
a) Expand and build on the successes of the CA and GA Telemedicine Programs
b) f) Design and guide the rural and specialty site selection process
c)  Manage and recruit staff
d) Manage vendor relationships and seek new vendors as needed
e) g) Liaison with key customers and constituents such as commercial business,  state government entities, rural professional groups
f)  b) Manage and develop new specialty offerings via Telemedicine
g) Implement Telemedicine at new customers by leading cross-functional teams
h)  Create a reporting and process Improvement process
i)  Create new and innovative models to implement Telemedicine in a variety of environments
j)  Sell Telemedicine to new customers


 
Experience: 8-10 yrs experience with Medical Group, Hospital, Health Plan setting in the capacity of management over clinical processes or departments, with a very clear understanding of referral patterns, clinical terminology, administrative and strategic planning, project management, budgeting, vendor management, marketing concepts, data reporting, and process improvement methodologies. Preference given to someone with Telemedicine or other healthcare technology experience, strong leadership, staff management experience, demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management, capacity to work in an unstructured environment, and salesmanship or any combination that provides a similar experience base.  Education/Training: BA or BS is required, strongly prefer MPH or MHA or MBA 
Licenses/Certifications: Any clinical education or licensure, prefer a Registered Nursing certification. Travel: Approximately 75% travel required
