We are in search of a vision specialist to manage our Houston retail store. This is a great chance to build your leadership skills in a busy, customer-oriented environment while utilizing your optometric/optician knowledge. Primary responsibilities include:
Opening and closing the store
Preparing daily deposits
Creating and running weekly and monthly reports
Checking incoming orders, taking inventory and submitting supply orders
Training staff on equipment and proper use of eyewear
Addressing customer-service issues
Assisting customers with eyewear selections
Verifying prescriptions and insurance



Demonstrated optometric/optician experience in a retail or vision-lab setting is essential to this role. A working knowledge of key optical equipment is needed. ABO certification is preferred, while NCLE certification is a plus. Supervisory experience is highly preferred. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are desired. Computer skills are a must.
