A leading distributor of Refractive Excimer/Opthalmic lasers is seeking an experienced supervisor for their Service Department!! Company Information:Main business:Development, production, sales and after service of ophthalmic surgical & diagnostic equipment. Development, production and sales of intraocular lenses. Development, production, sales and after service of dermatological lasers. Development, production, sales and after service of optical & finishing equipment. Coating of lenses and filters etc. Development of artificial vision

 

Position: Service Department Supervisor for Refractive Excimer/Opthalmic lasers

Job Location  Fremont, CA (CA - SF/Oakland/SJ)

Salary         $70,000 - $78,000+ bonus (this is negotiable)

Experience    5-10 years experience

   



Job Description



In this position The most qualified candidate will be able to Supervise the day to day work of various employees in the Service Department. In addition, this manager may perform various non-management duties such as; assisting customer with operational issues related to company products. Supervisor duties include: Providing direction and technical information as well as coordination of service calls for Service Engineers. Also working closely with headquarters in all aspect of supervising such as employee training, performance, time keeping and supervision.

 

 

Qualification:

 

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not a requirement. More than 3-5 years of equivalent knowledge and experience. Extensive technical product knowledge, Strong customer service skills, High level of accuracy, ability to analyze and problem solve is required.
