Ophthalmic Technician/Manager

High energy, team oriented refractive practice looking for an energetic, well trained, and personable Ophthalmic Technician/Manager.

 

Responsible for coordinating clinical activities and administrative duties for 3 physicians, 7 technicians and a surgery center.  Supervise and coordinate work activities for the technical staff, scheduling patient flow that is consistent with staffing and business needs, and providing patient care as needed.

 

Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, monitoring the compliance of individuals to the above policies.

 

Enhance ophthalmology practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

 

Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role - Ophthalmology background required.

 

Have interpersonal skills to maintain comfortable and cooperative working relationships with physicians, patients and co-workers.

 

Desire to be part of a management team that is adaptable and flexible in changing conditions.

 

Outgoing friendly personality with the ability to multi-task.

 

Extensive knowledge of Ophthalmic procedures.
