The Hospital is located on a park-like campus just west of Milwaukee, where we offer a wide range of services in specialty areas. Responsible for the future planning, system update/change, and the day-to-day operation of Radiology Information Systems (Informatics, RIS technology, etc.) including workflow, data flow and archiving, support, upgrades, patches, and other related activities in support of the integration of PACS, Voice Recognition, and other support systems into a RIS centric system.
Qualifications for this position include:
•A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Medical Informatics, Radiologic Technology, or other equivalent program required. Master’s degree preferred.
•Requires 5+ years of RIS or equivalent related experience in radiology operations and/or health care project management in a hospital setting of comparable size.
•Requires strong information technology background with an emphasis in system administration and networking in Clinical Information Systems. Solid understanding of desktop operating systems software (i.e. Windows 2000/NT/XP) and Web browser use (Internet Explorer); familiarity with specific radiology information systems applications.
•EPIC and/or Radiant experience or certification is a plus.
