Growing Huntington Beach Medical Supply company seeking detail oriented, self-motivated prescription and authorization specialists in Records Management Division. Company offers health insurance, 401(k), vacation, great people and new work environment! Hours: M-F 8:30-5pm (occasional overtime). Join our team! Help us make a difference in the lives of our customers!
Responsibilities:Responsible for requesting prescriptions from physiciansResponsible for requesting authorizations from payersInputting all info regarding Rx's and Auths into the Computer System for use by other departmentsRequest medical records from physicians to fulfill requestsDiscuss supply needs with CSR/New Order Reps and MD office personnel to determine Records to be requestedVerify Diagnosis with MD or designated office staffSupport Department in all duties as assigned
Skills required:Excellent communication, both verbal and writtenDetail orientedExperience in medical fieldDesire to learn new skills and contribute to team effort of caring for our customers
