Position Summary:
Supports the needs of general strategic analytic initiatives.
Conduct and validate book of business analyses utilizing approved methodology.
Maintain trend calculations.
Support the development of case studies and book of business statistics for publication needs and client model development.
Participate in the formulation of strategies for departmental projects, and support business statistics reporting and tracking.
Work closely with tools/automation to develop user requirements for static reports, and create longitudinal business intelligence and interpretation around static reports.
Effectively communicate to internal analytic groups.

 

Qualifications:
Strong team skills and the ability to multi-task under deadlines a must.
Demonstrated analytic and presentation skills.
Clinical and Industry knowledge preferred.
Experience with operational statistics, data mining and data warehousing tools a must.
Exceptional verbal / written communications skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure.

 

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required MBA or MS degree in a related field preferred.
A concentration in mathematics, actuarial, statistics or computer science.

 

Experience:
Experience working in a healthcare field, PBM preferred.
Minimum 1 year pharmacy claim analysis and financial analysis experience.
Experience working with IT desired.
SAS Programming skills a plus.
