Medical Biller/Collector required-Immediate Opening

We are an established health-care & medical-care organization, operated under the name and style- Mediwell Medical Group, rendering general, family and internal medical services as ‘Primary Care’ & ‘Urgent Care’. We are located in South Sacramento, CA, with another up-coming facility at Folsom, CA. The new facility is slated to begin its operations in Feb. 2007.

 

 For our South Sacramento, CA facility, we are seeking immediate services of a’ Medical Biller/Collector, on full-time basis.


Qualified applicant should possess the following:

 

A minimum of 2-3 years experience in strong follow-up on Medical billing aspects.  Must be familiar with government payers.  Knowledge and proven skills with appeal and claim correction protocols.  Ability to meet targets and deadlines.  Analytical skills to determine collectability of claim.  Experience on Lytec medical software a plus!

The Biller will be responsible for contacting insurance companies/HMOs for denials, etc for disposition of accounts, as well as ensuring that billings are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
