Chemistry Technician

Performs all assigned laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Reports the results of the testing, maintaining responsibility for the integrity of the results.
Performs all medical laboratory test, procedures, and analyses assigned to the department promptly.
Consults with other professionals regarding difficult interpretations or abnormal findings.
Performs quality control and instrument check procedures and maintains related records.
Records test results and maintains quality/quantity standards regarding output.

 

Hours:  Mon - Fri  12:00a.m. - 8:30a.m.  3rd shift pays a 15% shift differential

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Training Required)

Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent with 1-3 years clinical laboratory experience.
