Regional Vice President of Operations

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc., together with its affiliates, comprise the nation’s largest healthcare services company focused on physician services for newborn, maternal-fetal, and other pediatric subspecialty care. Our affiliated clinicians care for women with high-risk pregnancies and the most fragile members of our community: premature newborns and critically ill newborns and children. 


We are looking for a Regional Vice President (reporting to the Regional President) that has a strong medical operations background.  The Regional Vice President will be responsible for managing all operational functions including financial P&L, managed care and patient accounts for 5 service lines (over 130 physicians and 50 advanced practitioners) in 7 states. The position requires responsibility for negotiating agreements with physicians, payors, hospitals and vendors related to new and ongoing business. Additionally, the successful candidate needs to be able to establish effective working relationships with physician leaders and hospital partners to address market issues including leadership structure and group dynamics as well as development and implementation of business strategies. Strong managed healthcare contracting experience preferred. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in business with 10 years related experience; Master's degree and profit/loss experiences preferred.
