Business Office Manager

Wellington Place of Hampton Cove, an upscale provider of senior living, has a full-time opportunity for a Business Office Manager.

Position Summary: Oversees the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting & financial functions. This position reports to the Executive Director and may be required to supervise other staff personnel.

Essential Functions:
• Maintains thorough knowledge of computer software applications.
• Completes all weekly, monthly and annual reports according to corporate deadlines.
• Ensures accuracy with resident billings and answers billing questions.
• Ensures that move-out and cancellation deposits are processed in a timely fashion.
• Ensures that move-in deposits and rents are recorded and deposited in a timely fashion.
• Sends monthly delinquent notices and follows collection guidelines.
• Ensures that payroll is accurately prepared and reported to the corporate office at the time designated.
• Ensures that accounts payable procedures are timely & accurate.
• Assists with the preparation of the annual budget
• Ensures that all proprietary, financial, and resident information is kept confidential.
• Monitors and records petty cash disbursements and reconcile to replenish.
• Processes and monitors W-9s and 1099s at year end for vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS
-Associates Degree in Accounting or 3 years relevant work experience
-2 years AP/AR/General Ledger experience, ability to prepare tax returns, audit and

review compensation, reconcile payroll reports, manage operations budget and knowledge of Human Resources functions
-Proficiency with billing software and MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
-Accuracy and attention to detail a must
-Typing speed 50 WPM
-Organizational skills required
