Job Description
This job is responsible for the supervision of procurement staff and working as a liaison with departments on all of their procurement needs. It is responsible for ensuring all operations and processing issues are addressed in a timely manner while providing adequate support and expertise related to the acquisition of goods and services.

Duties Include:
1. Prepare complex contract events which include request for quote and requests for proposals to acquire goods and services. 2. Function as business area liaison for all procurement activities including industry analysts, vendor sourcing, developing user requirements, contract preparation and execution, vendor management and appropriate accounting treatment for invoices. 3. Supervise staff to ensure that all procurement processes are completed efficiently and effectively. 4. Prepare complex contracts which includes determining special provisions, terms and conditions to comply with appropriate laws, regulations and Bank policies and procedures. 5. Source, qualify and evaluate vendors. 6. Analyze contracts, statements of work and addendums. 7. Evaluate purchasing trends, identify problems and related solutions. 8. Develop negotiation strategy and lead negotiation process.

Essential Skills
1. Bachelors degree, CPM and 4 years related work experience required. 2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) 3. Knowledge of Lawson procurement modules preferred. 4. Problem-solving ability in order to analyze data and solve complex reporting problems. 5. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 6. Ability to handle difficult, complex customer situations. 7. Demonstrated ability to manage staff and multiple tasks simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed.
