MANAGEMENT ANALYST SUPERVISOR

Revenue Enhancement Unit

 

SALARY RANGE:  $54,372 to 68,609 per year  $26.14 to 32.98 per hour

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  To plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate a program of revenue enhancement designed to improve the efficiency with which the department manages information and operates programs to maximize revenue collection; to assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures; to supervise an interdisciplinary team of  professional, technical, and clerical staff assigned to the program; to assure compliance with state and federal regulations; and to perform related work as assigned.

 

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED: Oversight of a unit of financial and clinical specialists responsible for a broad range of revenue-generation and utilization review functions in conjunction with clinical and administrative teams throughout Ramsey County Human Services.  Functions include: administration of the child welfare Title IV-E program, utilization review of child placements in residential care, management of the foster care payment system, analysis & authorization of Medicaid billing for client health care services, social security advocacy, oversight of the agency appeal process, responsibility for clinical aspects of the client information systems, and management of billing functions related to services delivered by Ramsey County staff, including analysis of bills, information technology consultation, & training of clinical staff in compliance standards.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor's Degree in public administration, management information systems or related field and seven years' experience in methods, systems or administrative analysis including management of major systems projects involving employees performing this type of work.

 

Desired Qualifications: Supervisory Experience, knowledge of government Human Services programs, fiscal background, and systems experience.
