MARSOC Defense Readiness Specialist/NAVCENT DRR
There are 2 positions. 1 in II MEF HQ, Camp Lejeune and the other in NAVCENT, Bahrain
Provide support relating to the development, refinement, and assessment of unit and command Mission Essential Tasks, including the development of conditions and standards, and quantitative and qualitative logic/metrics for assessing MET readiness. Provide overall assistance, training, and support as necessary to implement, maintain, and manage current and future readiness reporting requirements and tools prescribed by DODD 7365.01, Defense Readiness Reporting System.
Knowledge of U.S. Defense Department readiness assessments, military organization, chain of command, and Mission Essential Tasks. Applicant must possess excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to respond to telephonic and electronic (email) in a concise manner. Job requires: a Secret Security Clearance, mastery of computer and Internet functionality, knowledge of METL Development, the readiness assessment process, the Joint Training System, and the Microsoft Office application suite. Applicant will be required to travel to customer sites in order to facilitate DRRS Implementation. Travel will be reimbursed in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). Moving expenses will not be paid.
