We are looking for an Acquisition Management Support Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as a primary interface.
· Demonstrate and apply knowledge of streamlined acquisition policies / procedures and program management skills.
· Assist in the development of strategies and associated budgets to efficiently and effectively execute requirements.
· Collaborate in program planning, execution, control and completion.
· Assist in the development of program documentation.
· Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) and all associated documentation.
· Analyze user requirements, ensure incorporation into acquisition plan, monitor and report attainment.
· Communicate all program activities effectively and continuously monitor effectiveness achieving program goals and objectives.
· Assist in monitoring cost, schedule & technical performance and associated risks.
· Significantly contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic team; be innovative, proactive, and solutions-oriented in supporting requirements and plans.
Requirements:
· Top Secret clearance is required with current investigation within past 5 years.
· 8 – 10 years of acquisition experience required.
· 15 years of acquisition experience preferred.
· System Acquisition experience required.
· Program-related cost / schedule / technical performance experience required.
· Ability to work multiple project efforts and interface with multiple contractors, MITRE, Government, and US Military.
· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technical Field desired.
· APDP Level III Certification in Program Management desired.
· Periodic travel (within CONUS) is required. (Average 7 – 9 days per month)
