Description:
Maintains and expands relationships with customers of the Organization to achieve revenue objectives. Will develop and implement strategies for continuous growth; determine how short and long term needs may be met. Contacts customers on a regular basis to maintain account relationships and understand customer’s overall objectives and requirements. Advises customer of new product and service offerings; obtains feedback on existing products and services.
· Work closely with customer to understand objectives, requirements and needs.
· Forecast the demand for product(s) within an assigned territory.
· Grow and book business within assigned accounts.
· Provide reports on the budget and sales activity for a given period of time.
· Ensure that sales, technology, and training departments provide post implementation support to assigned accounts / customers.
· Serve as a point of escalation for issues or activities that the customer encounters.
· Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations and demonstrations.
· Participate in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing information on products.
· Provide feedback to marketing and product engineering teams for future product enhancements.
· Share ideas and customer needs throughout all phases of product life cycle (plan, design, integrate, install, manage).
· Contribute to the quarterly and annual business forecasting by providing account trends and sharing future client needs.
Position Qualifications Required:
· Requires proven ability to maintain and grow customer relationships.
· Must be able to negotiate and execute against deliverables in a group setting while preserving and enhancing working relationships
· Requires analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.
· Demonstrates knowledge of market and competition; takes independent actions and calculated risks.
· Exhibits teamwork and excellent problem solving skills.
· Requires customer service orientation with strong business acumen.
· Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication and presentation skills are essential.
· Experience utilizing a sales pipeline management database such as SalesLogix is essential.
· Training on a sales methodology such as Miller Heiman required
· Bachelor's degree required.
· Experience in or with large corporations or financial institutions, experience selling into eFunds’ target markets required.
· Financial Services, credit card processing, banking or retail experience; dependent on line of business required.
· Minimum seven years account management/relationship management experience, with at least two years in a business to business environment.
· Effective leadership skills; self-starter with initiative
