Senior PLAN CONSULTANT (DC PLANS)

 

July Business Services (www.julyservices.com) is an employee benefit services firm headquartered in Waco, Texas with sales offices in Dallas, Houston, Austin, Fort Worth, and Chicago.  We provide retirement plan administration, daily recordkeeping, payroll outsourcing, and other employee benefit services to employers across the United States.   We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:

 

SENIOR PLAN CONSULTANT (DC PLANS) - This position requires a highly organized, goal-oriented professional to provide retirement plan services to companies that sponsor 401(k) Plans and other defined contribution plans.  Specific duties include:

 Supervision and training of team of 2 to 4 less experienced plan consultants Responsible for all aspects of administration for approximately 300 to 400 small and mid-sized plans Responsible for setting and meeting monthly budget for case load Assisting team members with completion of administration projects, including annual plan reports, compliance testing, and Form 5500s Final review of annual retirement reports and compliance testing for case load Interacting with Relationship Managers and clients on complex plan issues Interacting with supervisors to meet departmental budgets Working with 4 other Senior Plan Consultants and supervisors on continual process improvement to increase efficiency and profitability

 

The ideal candidate has the following credentials:Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 4 plus years of heavy administration experience Strong overall knowledge of ERISA ASPPA (or equivalent) certifications such as QKA, QPA, etc. a plus Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and see tasks through to completion Ability to manage multiple projects and project deadlines Strong independent work ethic Some supervisory and review experience a plus, but not required for the right candidate Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving challenges
