Senior Cost Analyst

MTC Technologies, Inc. (MTC) provides a wide range of sophisticated system engineering, intelligence, information technology and program management solutions, primarily to the Department of Defense and various intelligence agencies.

Provide technical expertise and support to a DoD Joint program Resource Management Office. Perform cost analysis and budget execution and tracking support. Assist with developing life cycle cost estimates (LCCE) and defend program office budget submissions with cost analysis support for the Joint Office, a joint service major program. Cost analysis responsibilities include: technical and financial data collection and analysis for sensor, electronic and major subsystem components; development of multi appropriation, phased cost models for major systems; sensitivity and risk analysis for trade studies of cost architecture and technology trade-offs in support of budget exercises; presentation, analysis, and verification of data, techniques, methodologies, and formats associated with cost analysis/cost estimating matters concerning all phases of projects. Apply professional expertise and cost estimating techniques in broad financial analysis matters, including Work Breakdown Structure model architecture, identification of cost elements and appropriations, and cost methodologies for unprecedented technologies covering all phases of the material life cycle. Perform cost studies and cost analysis, and produces or analyzes cost reports. Designs, develops, and adapts mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods in developing cost analyses. Analyzes program alternatives and brief leadership on likely impacts. Travel may be required.

Masters Degree in appropriate discipline and five (5) years experience, Bachelors Degree and ten (10) years experience, or over fifteen (15) years experience, with some college. Experience in DoD. Certification by a Professional Society may be substituted for Bachelors Degree. DAWIA Level III certification in Business, Cost Estimating and Financial Management a plus. Experience using the ACEIT model a plus. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
