Merrill Lynch Bank USA is a large, FDIC-insured depository institution that makes consumer and commercial loans, accepts deposits, and engages in other banking business. Job Responsibilities:


Responsible for monitoring activity between the Bank and affiliates and ensuring that intercompany balances reflect transactions and balances are reconciled with affiliates each month.  Will require proactive working relationship with affiliate accounting departments in various geographic locations and coordination with SLA Expense Controller in the BUSA organization.  Preparation of related account reconciliations and reports for internal and external purposes.  Special analysis and reporting will be required on an as needed basis.  Qualifications:
BS in Accounting and 1 year experience.  Must have firm understanding of balance sheet accounting and solid technical accounting understanding.  Requires extensive use of Excel and Oracle therefore candidate must have technical skills that enable them to be proficient.  Prior experience should be in performing account reconciliations, accruals and inter-company transactions, prior banking experience is a plus.
