Job Duties

Attend and complete World?s Underwriting Training program.
Make initial phone contact with Internet Loan customers.
Review the loan-to-value ratio and application information for accuracy.
Assist customer in selection of appropriate Loan program.
Perform credit analysis from credit reports or other documentation submitted by customer or broker.
Obtain appropriate up-front fee for Internet application.
Ensure that Loan Processing staff, Loan Reps, or brokers receive appropriate information necessary to finalize incomplete Loan applications.
Develop strong level of cooperation and communication with customers and field employees.
Evaluate Loan scenarios.
Perform other duties as assigned.



Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Bachelor?s degree is preferred.
At least 2 years of Underwriting experience.
1-2 years of customer service experience.
1-2 years of Loan Processing experience preferred.
Excellent attention to detail required.
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
Basic understanding of Loan programs to include rate sheets, options, and restructuring and packaging of loans.
Understanding of Underwriting guidelines.
Decision-making experience involving numerous objectives and risk situations.
Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
