Position Description:

The Pricing Actuary is responsible for supporting the evaluation and implementation of new products to include: *Performing pro forma profit analysis on GAAP and statutory basis *Ensuring compliance with all applicable governance *Achieving optimal balance of perceived customer value and company profitability *Understanding design implications for administrative systems and assisting in resolving conflicts *Writing / compiling product specifications for use by all areas of the business *Validating accurate implementation on administrative and valuation systems *Assisting in determining appropriate risk measures and success criteria

Basic Qualifications:
* Term or Universal Life pricing or valuation experience*Expert technical knowledge of XXX and/or AXXX*Strong analytic abilities and creative energy *Demonstrated successful experience in project planning and control *Ability to be self-driven, show initiative and motivate others *Proven business acumen and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization *Excellent leadership capabilities*Computer savvy *Flexible, team player *5 Years experience in actuarial or product development departments in the Insurance industry*Bachelor's degree in Math or Actuarial Science or Equivalent Actuarial Experience

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
*MG-ALFA experience
*FSA designation
