Pogram Control Analyst

Summary:

 

The Program Control Analyst provides financial analysis and reporting in support of projects and programs.

Specific Duties:

*  Formulates budget estimates for staffing needs
*  Identifies funding constraints and period of performance (POP) end dates impacting customer support
*  Initiates coordination and track results required to resolve funding and POP issues to include sub-contractor requirements
*  Develops and administers the budget execution plans subject to customer requirements throughout the fiscal year
*  Performs a variety of analyses and studies to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of current and planned fiscal resources
*  Maintains records and prepares reports for management concerning one or more of the following: Manpower resources, funding/budget, trends, and problem areas
*  Reviews and prepares employee travel vouchers for reimbursement and monitor travel budget to ensure adequate funding is maintained and available to meet customer support requirements

 

Required Knowledge:

 

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and/or experience) and a minimum of 3 years finance experience required. 

Additional Requirements:

*  Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
*  Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance; US citizenship required

 

Desired Knowledge:

 

*  Possession of an active SECRET security clearance desired
*  Experience working with travel orders preferred
*  Familiarity with Cost Point and Project Planner desired
