Overview : Monitors patient flow, reviews patient account information to optimize collection efforts and system recording events to expedite reimbursement and compliance.

Qualifications :

MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires two years experience working in a customer service position in a hospital, Physician office, hotel registration, or banking environment. Typing, ten-key and Personal Computer experience are required. Cash collections experience required. Medical terminology and an understanding of the law as it relates to confidentiality, credit and collections are preferred. Incumbent must possess the ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision. Must have highly developed interpersonal skills and demonstrate behaviors consistent with those identified as Banner Health Core Behaviors.
