Collections Supervisor (Front-End)

Function:   Supervise and manage a team of front end (1-30 days delinquent) Account Representatives.

 

Responsibilities:

 
Duties will include coordinating the activities of the collection team to achieve the assigned goals (delinquency ratios) and reach productivity standards.
Manage the collection team including scheduling, hiring, training, completing performance evaluations.
This individual will provide leadership, support, motivation and collection knowledge to the collection team.

 

 Requirements:

 
Thorough knowledge of computer operations, as well as state and federal legal requirements with regard to collection procedures, bankruptcies, and keeping abreast of current requirements and changing legislation.
Post high school education preferred.
2 years of collection experience
1 year of previous supervisory/lead experience required.
Strong ability to direct, lead, and motivate staff.
Strong oral and written communication skills and good telephone techniques.
Strong numeric aptitude, problem solving and analytical skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Able to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced highly stressful environment.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which can include evenings and weekends.
